Notion is a note-taking application, also one of the most popular one of them. If taking notes and writing scripts through electronic devices is your day-to-day routine, Notion could be a delightful choice. But what is the point of transferring all the existing data and starting up to use a new platform?
First thing first, Notion is more than a note-taking app. It is a personal database to store up all your learning materials and even create hyperlink to websites and documents. With such powerful functions, Notion is free to use.
The app could help to you handle these issues:
Listing out every electronic gadget of yours with details such as warranty valid date and purchase date;
Writing articles with a list of references, especially in weblink form;
Drafting a to-do list or a checklist;
Building up a database such as personal movie catalog with reviews;
And a lot more application scenarios to discover by yourself.
We are all used to applying multiple tabs on internet surfing and Notion has a similar function. In Notion, you could access your contents in customized catalogs and sort them by tab.
Each page in your Notion account is fully customizable and there are different templates provided by Notion for specific usage. The Pages could be switching into table view, board view or calendar view easily and instantly. Also, filters were able to add onto pages to more easily sort out and search.
There are 4 types of subscriptions to Notion. For personal use, there are FREE or PERSONAL. A FREE account is free to use but with limits on data entry(5MB data and 1000 blocks in total). A PERSONAL account costs 4 USD per month with no limits on data entry.
An all-in-one application is amazing. But my preference is picking up different tools in every specific situation: opening Notion for accessing data while using Evernote for writing. Afterall, there is always a main function in a tool.
